YWAM Josh

So, where to begin? A couple months ago I was talking to a friend about things that I was struggling with, questions I had about God and the Holy Spirit.  After which he told me about YWAM and felt like I would really benefit from their classes.  This went on until thanksgiving, after much prayer and talking with people close to me I decided to fully commit.  And here we are.  I'm leaving everything I have set up here in Colorado and stepping out in faith.  So what is it?

The organization is called YWAM.  The location is Kona Hawaii.  I arrive January 3rd where I will spend the first 3 months in a classroom setting studying the scriptures and learning more about God.  After that I will be going on a 3 month mission trip, where? I don't know yet!  I'll make a blog post about the class and link it here, I want to keep this short.

So then the scary part.  I need to raise $10,000.  I hate asking people for money.  But, its about more than money.  I need a prayer network, this is going to be hard and take me out of my comfort zone.  I expect to be challenged, both in the classroom, the mission field and spiritually.  I'm creating this blog so that you can follow along with me, hear the things I'm going through and be part of the journey.
